How do I Join Pets2View?

Click Join on the top menu, and then select either OWNER or INDUSTRY. Select OWNER if you are a private pet owner. Click INDUSTRY if you have a business in the animal / pet industry such as Vets, Dog Breeders, Pet Insurance Providers. Check your e-mail for your instant Pets2View username and password, then log in. You're now a member. If you don't receive an email within a few minutes with your log in info, check your junk e-mail box, or contact us by clicking on support at the very bottom of any page on the site and we can send you your details directly.

Forgotten Username and password?

To get your Pets2View username and password sent to your e-mail address, go to the homepage, scroll to the top of the page, and click on either FORGOTTEN PASSWORD or FORGOTTEN USERNAME (under the link that says JOIN FOR FREE NOW). A box will appear. Type your e-mail in this box and then click the GO button. After a moment, a message will pop up telling you either that your e-mail was not found or that your username and password have been sent to your e-mail. Check your e-mail and then log in.

Can I Change my Password?

Yes. In your private admin area, go to "MY INFO & SETTINGS" (owners) or PREFERENCES (industry) and type in your new password, and repeat the same password in the "Confirm New" box. Click submit. Your password has been updated.

What should I consider when uploading images?

1. Good quality images will make your galleries, ads, etc. more effective. Poor quality images that are distorted, darkened or blurry may reduce your chances of success.
2. Your images should be in JPG format and between min 20kb and max 1mb in file size. Images below 100kb are best for uploading
3. All images will be screened by Pets2View for appropriate content and we reserve the right to remove images deemed as inappropriate from the site.
4. If you are having problems uploading images, feel free to send us an email attaching your images, to service@pets2view.com.au. Please include your Pets2View username in the e-mail.

I've got a pony to sell? How do I sell it on Pets2View?

1. Log in with your username and password
2. Click on MY ADS in your private menu
3. Click ADD NEW AD
4. Fill out the information for your ad
5. After submitting your ad, choose Standard or Premium
6. If you choose Standard, you will be returned to your Ads List. Click on the title of the ad you just created for options such as adding images, editing info, etc.
7. If you choose Premium, you will be redirected to PayPal to validate your Ad
8. After paying through PayPal, you will be returned to your private admin area to a page listing all ads you have created. Click on the title of the ad you just created and choose options such as adding images or video to continue
9. Your ad is valid for 30 days after being created or upgraded to Premium

What happens when my Ad has expired?

• Your Ad will not be deleted
• Your ad will not be listed in any public area on Pets2View
• You can renew your ad for another 30 days by accessing your Ads List in your private admin area
• To access your ads list, go to MY ADS in your Private Admin Menu area and then click MANAGE ADS
• Click on the title of your ad in your Ads List
• Click RENEW on the small pop-up menu next to the ad title
• You can choose Standard or Premium
• After renewing your ad, it will again appear in public areas of Pets2View for another 30 days

What do I get with a Premium Business Listing on Pets2View?

1. Always displayed before standard listings in directory search results
2. Premium listings are displayed in Featured Suppliers on the homepage - 2 Premium listings are selected randomly each time the homepage is viewed (so your listing may not appear every time you view the homepage - but remember that dozens of other people may be viewing the homepage at the same time you are)
3. Upload unlimited photos to promote your business
4. Photo and first 50 words of business description included in directory search results
5. Direct link to your own website from your premium listing
6. $30 Activates your Premium Listing for full 12 months
7. Send to Friend link
8. No Google Ads
9. Location Map
10. Statistics - when you log in to your private admin area, you are shown how many times your listing has appeared on the Pets2View homepage (homepage impressions) and how many times visitors have linked directly to your website from Pets2View

How do I get a Premium Listing for my Business on Pets2View?

1. Log in with your username and password
2. Click the large UPGRADE button... or
3. Click on MAIN BUSINESS in your private menu
4. At the right of the LISTING box, click UPGRADE TO PREMIUM
5. Click on ACTIVATE to continue
6. After processing through PayPal, you will be returned to you MAIN BUSINESS page, and your listing will be upgraded

What order are directory search results displayed in?

• 1) Premium Listings
• 2) Standard Listings
• The order of listings is randomised within each grouping above
• Random ordering is shuffled twice a day
• There a business name starting with the letter 'Z' is just as likely to appear at the top of the directory as a listing starting with 'A'

How do I protect myself from fraud?

You should be aware of basic internet security practices when making any purchase on the web. Always make sure to contact the seller directly by phone to confirm their address and identity before making a purchase. Verify any suspicious payment methods suggested by the seller, such as paying through a third party such as a charitable organisation. Watch out for sellers who pressure you to pay quickly or coerce you to purchase more than you have indicated you are comfortable with.
